QUESTION NO. 1

Shall the City of Commerce City taxes be increased by an estimated $68,000.00 for the first full fiscal year (2007) and by such amounts as may be generated annually thereafter by the imposition of an accommodations tax commencing July 1, 2007, the proceeds of which accommodation tax together with investment earnings thereon shall be used solely for economic development and marketing.

Shall the Home Rule Charter of the City of Commerce City be amended to provide that regular municipal elections are to be held in conjunction with the general elections to be held in November of odd years commencing in 2007 and biennially thereafter and that all terms of City Council members and the Mayor expiring in either April 2009 or April 2011 shall be extended through November 2009 and November 2011 respectively?

Shall the Home Rule Charter of the City of Commerce City be amended in Section 1.1 by changing the name of the City of Commerce City to another name to be chosen by the registered electors of the City at the next election occurring in the City in November 2007.
